Samurai

Samurai is a high damage class that can survive very well with the right build. Samurais cause high damage physical attacks at minimum attack speed, and have large pools of HP. Samurai skills usually increase attack, critical rate/damage, and reduce damage received, making the samurai a great solo player.

When to Switch

One can change to the class Samurai at Lv100 by taking the quest 'Ganaji Professions' from Suigetsu in Minaula City. However, switching to the class Samurai at Lv100 is not recommended because of the lack of the skill "Supernatural". Without this skill, not a lot of damage can be generated, and it will be hard to kill ordinary mobs before one's HP runs out. Although samurais get the skill Supernatural at Lv160, I recommend that Samurais wait until after Lv250, so they have enough AGI to evade a decent amount of attacks, and can generate a critical attack about 90% of the time with Absolute Clarity. Switching to Samurai at Lv160 is a fine decision, but leveling and finding parties will be very hard. Please note that after switching your class to any special class, you will lose all of your previous skills and can only switch to other special classes.

Build

VIT>DEX>AGI>STR
This is the only samurai build I would recommend. Although popular, STR-based builds are hard to survive with, and will cause less damage than a VIT build. CRT should not be added to a samurai's build, samurais have a special skill that raises their CRT by their level. At higher levels, a samurai will have its CRT maxed without using a single stat point. CRT will also lower one's attack when equipped with a special sword (this only applies to status points, not  buffs).
The VIT>DEX>AGI>STR build is for users with special swords. One VIT will add two attack points, one DEX will add one and a half attack point, and AGI will add one attack point, along with evasion.
Note that samurais are stuck at minimum attack speed, and adding AGI will not increase their attack speed. Some people say you should use STR instead of AGI in a special sword build, but AGI adds the same amount of attack, and has the added bonus of evasion.
